Our History
Vincapri Group was established to manufacture electronic siren drivers, alarm control circuitry, VHS player power pack and TV power packs at Alaba International market, Lagos, Nigeria in the year, 1999. These products were intended for technicians that repairs televisions, VHS players and alarm systems.
Vincapri Group’s contribution in the international market recovered over 70% ‘beyond-repair-products’ and saved about 55% of time spent on product repairs.
All Vincapri Group products as at then, were built from recycled electronic parts with new parts contributing between 5 to 12% of the aggregate assembly depending on scrap electronics availability within the international market.
Vincapri Group was founded by Eli Vincent and that happened immediately after graduation from the university. Eli Vincent is a graduate of Electrical and Electronics Department of University of Port-Harcourt.
In the year 2000, Vincapri group joined the prospect of solar energy technology by importing Siemens and Solarex Solar panels into Nigeria and by building electronic power inverters, solar charge regulators and battery chargers which found its use in affluent homes, cyber cafes and corporate organizations like SIOTEL Aggregate solar power installation by Vincapri Group to date is 5MWe.
By 2007, the company opened its Liberian office. And immensely contributed towards Liberia's post-conflict building efforts.
Our 2013 breakthrough with gasification technology does not only see the company founder’s alliance with All Power Labs of Berkeley, California, USA; but propelled the company towards greater renewable energy efforts from which came the successes of Booker Washington Renewable Energy Center (a USAID Project), Sorlumba Crude Palm Oil Power plant (a USAID project), Kwendin Biomass Power Plant ( a USAID project), Kumasi Biomass Power Plant, Ghana (a USADF project) and Geshora Girls School of Science and Technology Irrigation Power Plant ( a Geshora Girls Initiative Project).
By 2018, Vincapri Group has mastered the art of small electric power plant making. Power systems developed and manufactured included Solar Home systems, wind turbines, hydro dams, gasifier power plants, crude palm oil power plants, vegetable Oil power plants, condemned engine oil power plants, steam engine power plants and steam turbine power plants.
By 2020, Vincapri Group manufactured its first 1 ton per hour capacity steam boiler in Liberia which brought about the intense effort towards building micro steam turbines and micro steam engines that will be affordable to small scale industrial owners and community co-operative societies. The Steam technology systems uses agricultural wastes like dead or unproductive rubber trees as fuel.
By 2021, Vincapri Group built a 100KWatts steam turbine power plant for its portfolio company, HV WoodGas Technology Inc. This power plant, which is located at Gboanipea, Nimba county, Liberia would serve 350 households of about 1400 population, 6 still mills and 5 shops and will run for 24 hours a day.
By 2022, Vincapri group developed an outsourcing and improvised system that reduced its production cost by over 70%, therefore, more than 10% in savings to its customers compared to Chinese made alternatives.
